Top Android Phones 2013: Samsung's Galaxy Note 3 To Wear Shades Of Gold, Red, To Hit Stores Early Next Year

Announced and released more than two months ago, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is absolutely one of the top Android phones in 2013 that consumers should check out in case they are looking for a powerful handset. And now that 2014 is fast approaching and a number of OEMs are directly taking on the flagship with their 'Note 3 killers', the Korean manufacturer plans to make life more difficult for them as they announce more color options for their beloved device.

According to a report from GSM Arena, Samsung is planning to release a number of color variations for the Galaxy Note 3, which include red, white gold and rose gold. A couple of months ago, an independent manufacturer released a gold-plated HTC One with a rose gold option. It's quite a sight to behold, and so would Samsung's version would be, though it's only coated.

HTC has also launched an official 'champagne gold' version of its HTC One, and is now on its way to the European market, particularly the UK.

The report says the red variation would hit stores during the first week of January, while the gold options would follow two weeks later.

Some carriers may get the color options and offer them exclusively for a short period of time.

There are no details yet regarding pricing, though we certainly hope the increase would not be that much.
