Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Update: Android 4.3 Update Issues Persist As Rollout Continues, Bug Affects Random Users Says Report

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 update: Android 4.3 Jelly Bean issues has already halted the rollout in the U.K. and according to reports, the case seems to persist with Samsung Galaxy Note 2. The Droid Guy earlier reported that some users say that they lose signal after installing the new OS.

According to the Android-focused blog, the most probable cause for the Galaxy Note 2 no signal issue is the Android 4.3 update based on a number of forums and websites dedicated to Android-powered handsets. The bug, however, affects a random set of users.

Aside from lost signal, other Samsung Galaxy Note 2 users are also reporting that a couple of their apps have disappeared from their phones. The Droid Guy notes that users who have installed the buggy version of the update have been advised to revert their firmware into its previous version or wait until their carrier releases a fix over-the-air.

In a post by Softpedia about the issue, it reminds users who want to install the update but are unsure whether the bug will affect their phone or not to backup their data before proceeding with the installation.

The Full Signal, amongst other tech blogs, has reported earlier that AT&T is now pushing the Android 4.3 update for the Samsung Galaxy S3 once again. The major U.S. carrier noted that other devices may follow suit in the near future or as soon as Samsung fixes the problems.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has remained to be popular with users. The Android 4.3, amongst other things, is expected to allow the device to be able to support the Samsung Galaxy Gear, the South Korean tech giant’s flagship wearable gadget.
