Nexus 8 release date, rumors: Specs of a device dubbed the LG-V510 include an 8-inch screen, 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution, 2GB RAM and 5MP camera. It was discovered in a leaked service manual for the said unit. Speculations suggest this maybe either the next Nexus 8 or the LG G Pad LTE 8.3

According to the International Business Times, the mysterious LG device was earlier spotted in a Bluetooth SIG certification documents and is being rumored as the Nexus 10 tablet. There have been speculations that the new Nexus 10 would be released Black Friday. The rumors were proven to be unfounded.

The Business Times notes that the 8-inch screen size suggests that the device could be one of the variants of an LG G Pad 8.3. Citing a report by Geeky Gadgets, the website noted that there is a difference in the device’s weight relative to the current LG G Pad. The mystery unit weighs 349.38, while the current LG G Pad 8.3 is at 338 grams.

Other specs of the LG-V510 as per the manual are: 216.8 x 126.5 x 8.3mm in dimensions, 4,600mAh battery, and 1.3MP front facing camera

The rumors for an upcoming Nexus 8 began when Google’s Android website posted an image of a woman holding a tablet that looks slightly bigger than the Nexus 7. As soon as the rumors for a Nexus 8 device began circulating, ZDnet reported that Google has removed the mysterious device.

The leaked manual confirms a report by Android Guys earlier that an LG tablet passed through Bluetooth certification with model number LG V510 and that the device is an 8-inch tablet.
