Brad Pitt reportedly gave a hefty amount of money to the villagers who live nearby the shooting area of his latest World War II tank movie, Fury, the amount was said to be £1 million.

The local residence from the Oxfordshire village of Shirburn were given a huge amount of money according to the local news paper Henley Standard and the company behind the movie.

The film, which also stars "Transformers" actor Shia LaBeouf and Michael Peqa was said to be very noisy during its production, making the 49-year old star feel bad that made him decide to give money to the villagers.

"We know that filming in a close-knit community over seven weeks can at times present some challenges for the residents but we appreciate our mutual business relationship," producer Ethan Smith stated in a letter to the community the publication has printed.

Brad was thankful to the residence for giving them a "warm welcome" for staying in their village for over two months saying, "We've experienced incredible hospitality and appreciate the warm welcome we've received from the local community."

However, the filmmakers of the movie Fury was not always in good terms with the community and were forced to apologize during their shooting on Remembrance Sunday last month, where the locals found it showing a lack of respect to them.

Meanwhile, Brad Pitt was said to have bought a World War II Spitfire plane, which was used by the Royal Air Force in battle because he was so inspired with the film, according to Irish Examiner.

The expensive plane was reportedly costs £2 million, which was purchased by the 49-year old actor, perhaps a gift for his birthday?

"Brad, who has done everything from sleep in trenches to learn to drive a tank for the film, has now invested in one of the iconic machines," an insider revealed to The Sun.
