According to CNN, Israeli model and actress Gal Gadot has been tapped to portray Wonder Woman in the upcoming "Batman vs. Superman" movie. The former Miss Israel is best known for her appearance in the "Fast & Furious" franchise.
"Wonder Woman is arguably one of the most powerful female characters of all time and a fan favorite in the DC Universe," director Snyder said in a statement.
"Not only is Gal an amazing actress, but she also has that magical quality that makes her perfect for the role. We look forward to audiences discovering Gal in the first feature film incarnation of this beloved character."
So now, Gadot will join Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck as Wonder Woman, although the size of her role remains to be seen given the two starring leads in the title.
