In the Grammy Award for song of the year nomination, Perry is pitched against Pink (Just Give Me a Reason), Bruno Mars (Locked out of Heaven), Lorde (Royals) and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis Featuring Mary Lambert (Same Love)

The Prism singer will battle out with Sara Bareilles for Brave, Lorde for Royals, Bruno Mars for When I was Your Man and Justin Timberlake for Mirrors. to win the coveted Grammy Award for Best Solo Pop Performance.
