Selena Gomez Scandal: ‘Come and Get It’ Singer Displays Her Real Persona On Stage? Is She Really Naughty Rather Than Nice?

Selena Gomez made a scanndal and surprised her fans and the audience when she dropped the F-bomb in the middle of a performance for KIIS FM's 2013 Jingle Ball concert in Los Angeles, Friday night.

The media also picked up on the slip-up, not because she cursed on stage and walked off afterwards, but because it was so different from the image her handlers have created for her. Plus, there's also the fact that she was lip-syncing her single "Undercover," the second time she tried to fake it in recent performances.

According to Hollywood Reporter, the song was "heavily backtracked," which probably made Selena lose her cool when she encountered technical difficulties.

"What the f---!?!" she shouted into the mic when the lights went off.

"Sorry, the sound isn't working! Are you guys having a good night?"

The 21-year-old former walked off the stage but to her credit she came back and promised to sing two more songs. She then assured the crowd that "a lot cooler people are gonna come out tonight."

She was apparently stalling while technicians work on the sound. "I have to thank you guys so much for allowing me to be able to perform the music that I love.

"And I have to say that before you guys go on to the people that you care about, I really appreciate you supporting everything that I do. So this next song is the first song I had hit No. 1, and it's called 'Come & Get It.'"

However, she walked off again even before finishing her song.

It's not clear if Selena was trying to shed off her squeaky clean image in the footsteps of her fellow Disney alum, Miley Cyrus, who again twerked Santa just like what she did with Robin Thicke at the VMA Awards.

The technical difficulties also extended to the other performances of the night, such as Ariana Grande who managed to work around the problem and managed a jab at Selena: "At least you know I'm not tracked," she told the audience.
