Philly will be searching for its second road win of the season as Minnesota wants its seventh win of the season.

Philly will be without star rookie Michael Carter-Williams who is dealing with an infected knee and could miss a few games. This could be a big loss against a team that loves to run the floor with its fast pace. Carter-Williams has been having a great rookie season at point guard, averaging 17.7 PPG and dishing out 7.3 APG, to go along with 3.1 steals.

The Sixers will be attempting to avoid matching its longest losing streak of the season after dropping their last three. Philly is 1-6 without Carter-Williams.

"The challenge, at times, keeps you up real late at night," coach Brett Brown said told ESPN.com.

Kevin Love came back strong after not being with the T-Wolves in their blowout loss vs the Miami Heat because of the death of his grandmother. He contributed 26 points, 16 rebounds and seven assists in his return. Love had "RIP Grandma Carol" on his shoes.

"She's supported me since I was a baby, so I wanted to make sure and do something special for her tonight," Love, who has a league-best 19 double-doubles told ESPN.com.
