Lorde ‘Royals’ Fame Did Not Make Her Boyfriend Safe From Racist Remarks; Songstress Feeling Remorseful After Criticizing Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, And Miley Cyrus?

While Lorde's 'Royals' is generating buzz for its eclectic tune, the 17-year-old songstress is starting to get a bitter taste of the music industry. Lorde's boyfriend, James Lowe, is currently being criticized on various social networking accounts for his physical looks.

Fans of Justin Bieber and One Direction are allegedly the ones behind the racist remarks. The assailants are calling Lowe "ugly" and "old Asian" after Lorde reportedly called Bieber and the boy band member's "ugly". However, there is no official record that the Auckland-born singer has indeed labeled the celebrities in such manner.

She has previously expressed her dislike for Selene Gomez's 'Come and Get It'. As a self-confessed feminist, Lorde feels that the implicit meaning of the song is appropriate:  "I'm a feminist and the theme of her song is, 'When you're ready come and get it from me.' I'm sick of women being portrayed this way.

The 'Glory and Gore' singer is also not in favor of the things Miley Cyrus is doing. "The difference between those kids and me is that I grew up completely normally and went to parties and had that experience. I am way less inclined to be like, 'Look! I'm f-ing mental!'" claims Lorde

Even Taylor Swift's 'perfection' did not escape her eyes: "Taylor Swift is so flawless and so unattainable, and I don't think it's breeding anything good in young girls."

Apart from being honest with how she takes other people's music, Lorde is unstoppable in calling out other musicians' behavior although no records of her saying unfavorable things about other people's physical appearances have been recorded. For the young music icon, her "strong morals" inspire her to voice out her opinions.
