WestJet Christmas Miracle Bloopers [Video] Better Than Original? Canadian Airline Proves Holiday Travel Can Be Fun!

WestJet Christmas miracle video was released on December 8, 2013 and automatically became viral just after it was posted.

[See Video Below]:

In the original WestJet Christmas miracle video, the passengers scanned their boarding passes at the kiosks. After scanning, a virtual Santa appeared and asked the passengers about their Christmas wish.

Without the passengers knowing, the WestJet staff recorded their Christmas wishes and rushed to buy, wrap, and then deliver the Christmas wishes to the Calgary International Airport.

While waiting for their luggage to arrive, the passengers are shocked to find their wrapped gifts instead of their luggage.

The two-year-old son of Matt Peltier, Cohen, asked Santa for a Thomas The Train set while his father asked for a big TV.

Both received their requests upon arriving to Calgary International Airport.

After seeing the wrapped gift, Peltier told Melissa Carpenter of CTV Calgary, “If that’s a TV, I’m going to cry.” And, indeed it was a big TV.

The video proved to be a success with a lot of positive feedbacks not only from the Canadian passengers but also from viewers.

However, the airline’s blooper video clip also suggests that the “act” didn’t go without a few issues.

Check out the video blooper below:

Some of the major highlights of the blooper mini-clip include a girl asking for a big diamond ring. Later on, the video reveals Santa proposes!

Another awkward but funny highlight is the girl asking for a warm socks.

There is even one request to change the federal law.

One passenger also asked why Santa is wearing a blue coat instead of the usual red coat.

Santa replied, “I only wear red on Christmas eve so the airlines can see me as a fire truck.”

WestJet released another video explaining the company’s reason for doing the Christmas miracle.

WestJet vice-president of communications Richard Bartrem explained that the airline will be donating flights to the Ronal McDonald Christmas Charities right after reaching its goal of 200,000 viewers.

The video now has more than 11 million views.

This is not the first time WestJet made this kind of Christmas special.

Last year, the WestJet Christmas miracle special is a flash mob of singing and dancing elves. Passengers arriving at Toronto from Calgary witnessed this heart-warming event.

The WestJet Christmas miracle video automatically went viral on various social media sites receiving generally positive reactions.
