Rangers VS Blue Jackets Live Stream: Watch Online Free 7:10 Thursday - Ex Rangers Come Back To MSG Against Former Team

Rangers vs Blue Jackets live stream: Watch online free 7:10 ET Thursday as both teams look to get to or closer to the .500 mark on the season as these two meet for the second time this 2013 NHL season.

Carl Hagelin had two goals in the 4-2 victory vs the Blue Jackets for the Rangers early in November. The two teams will meet two more times this season as per being part of the newly aligned Metropolitan division.

The 15-16-1 Rangers vs 13-15-3 Blue Jackets are coming off different outcomes as New York has dropped three straight, only leaving one of those three games with one point. Columbus scored two in the third period to defeat the New Jersey Devils 5-4 on Tuesday. Watch the free live stream online as the Rangers look to get it going again against a Blue Jackets team that just scored more than they have all month.

New York will be without its captain again as Ryan Callahan is out four-to-six weeks with a sprained left knee that he suffered in the loss Tuesday against the Nashville Predators. This will be the Rangers second time without him.

"Everyone has to step up a little more," NYR defenseman Dan Girardi told ESPN.com. "He brings a lot to the team, a lot of different characteristics."

Thursday night's game will be the first time that Rick Nash plays against his former team as he was dealing with a concussion last time these two teams met. There were rumors two seasons ago that Nash was going to be traded mid-season to the Rangers, but it did not happen.

"I think it could have been a bit smoother of - I guess you could it - an exit," Nash told the Daily News, who was not moved by then-GM Scott Howson at the 2012 trade deadline, even though Nash was looking to be moved and several teams had shown interest. "I thought everyone was honest, everyone was in the same boat. It ended up getting a little messy, but at the end of the day, when someone asks to move on for their career, you have to assume it's gonna get messy.

"The only thing that kept me going was the fans stayed behind me," Nash continued. "They understood my decision, my situation, and I kind of (am grateful to) the fans that they understood."

Brandon Dubinsky and Artem Anisimov, career Rangers until they were make key pieces of the Nash trade, will be making their returns to Madison Square Garden Thursday night. Dubinsky is coming off a career-high four-point outing Tuesday.
