Miley Cyrus has turned down an offer to perform on Miami's New Year's Eve party and has instead chosen to perform at Times Square in New York City on the same day, EOnline.com reports, leaving many wondering if the success from her 'Wrecking Ball' track has made her cocky.

"Smilers! There's been a change in my NYE plans. @RyanSeacrest asked me to perform in Times Square for #RockinEve!!" she wrote on her Twitter page.

Ryan Seacrest retweeted her post and mentioned that he will announce more performers for the show.
