NBA All Star Game 2014: LeBron James And Kevin Durant Tops The Voting And Players You Won’t Expect To Be On The Top 10

Few months before the NBA All Star Game 2014 and the league gets ready for the fun and entertaining battle between the Eastern Conference players and the Western Conference players.

LeBron James tops the voting boards with 609,336 votes becoming obviously the number one in the East, followed by Kevin Durant who has 607,407 votes becoming the number one ranked in the West.

The top five players for the East back court includes reigning MVP LeBron James, Paul George of the Indiana Pacers (489,335), Carmelo Anthony from New York Knicks (424,211), Roy Hibbert also from the Pacers (208,369) and Chris Bosh of the Heat (156,364).

For the front court of the East, Dwyane Wade gets first place (396,279), Kyrie Irving of the Cavs (365,712), out-of-the-season Derrick Rose of the Bulls (272,410), Wizards' John Wall (124,851) and Heat's Ray Allen (99,464).

For the West back court, it's scoring champion Kevin Durant, Dwight Howard from Houston Rockets (295,120), former dunk champion Blake Griffin (292,925), Kevin Love of the Wolves (275,506) and Tim Duncan of the Spurs (217,271).

The West front court on the other hand, even with just two games in the season Kobe Bryant gets the first spot (501,215) becoming the third most voted overall, Chris Paul (393,313), Stephen Curry (327,449), Jeremy Lin (240,404) and James Harden (198,667), completing their trio in Houston to be part of the top 10.

Surprising players also appear to have been voted by fans as Omer Asik gets in the board of the West back court with 53,827 votes despite playing few games due to trade rumors and injuries and Steve Nash in the West front court with 60,782 votes to fill up the first round of the NBA All Star Games 2014 voting.

The NBA All Star Game 2014, which is the 63rd installment, will be exclusively televised on TNT where the event will take place in New Orleans Arena on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014. The All-Star Game 2014 will also have a live broadcast on ESPN Radio.
