Once a 10-10 Pistons team, Detroit has lost three consecutive games going into the home game Friday night vs the Brooklyn Nets (8-14). Last time they met, it was a 12-point victory for the Pistons. The Nets have tacked off three in a row, including a convincing victory last night. Paul Pierce might have found a new home in the process. It's somewhere he isn't used to being, but he made it work - off the bench providing a spark for the Nets vs the L.A. Clippers last night. He had 10 points, seven rebounds and five assists in the victory.

"We hope so. I think our experience, our competitiveness, our leadership, hopefully can rub off on everybody," Pierce told ESPN.com. "We're starting to see signs of that, and that's what we're here for."

Brooklyn might be without star center Brook Lopez as he left last night's game with an ankle injury. It's the same ankle that sidelined him earlier in the season.

As for the Pistons, after a promising start, they have lost three straight allowing from either 110-121 points in those games.

"It's on Greg (Monroe) and I to figure it out. We can't continue to let guys come in our paint and do those kinds of things to us," center Andre Drummond told ESPN.com. "It's a building process and we're going to figure it out. It's not going to happen for too long."

Rodney Stuckey will attempt to repeat his performance from the two teams last meeting in which he scored 27-points.
