As the New Year approaches, more updates regarding the Pokemon X and Y movie have surfaced!

As previously reported, the Pokemon X and Y movie will be called "Pokemon the Movie: Cocoon of Destruction." It will be released July 19, 2014.

In addition to confirming the title, the title of the attached Pokemon short film has also been confirmed.

"Pikachu, What Kind of Key is This?" will be a short film involving the Pokemon X and Y Pokedex addition, Klefki.

Posters for both the Pokemon X and Y movie and the short have been released! Judging by the poster, it also appears that Mega Evolution will play a big role in the Pokemon X and Y movie. You can see Mega Mewtwo X and Y, Mega Blastoise, Mega Charizard X and Y, Mega Garchomp, Mega Gardevoir, Mega Venasaur, and more!

Most importantly, a teaser trailer for the Pokemon X and Y movie has been released and uploaded on YouTube.

Although very little footage is shown, we can see that Yveltal and Xerneas will be prominently featured in the movie.

No doubt as the New Year arrives, more information will surface regarding the Pokemon X and Y movie.
