Maleficent official trailer debuts Angelina Jolie's real life daughter Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, playing the role of young Princess Aurora on the film.

This is practically the first Disney film that will star an iconic evil villain, contrary to its tradition. With that, the House of Mouse has decided to work on a Disney Original Movies that would feature more villains on it. The "Descendants" is Disney's first attempt to feature the children of iconic Disney villains.

Dove Cameron is first to be cast on the film. She will be playing the role of Mal - Maleficent's teenage daughter from Sleeping Beauty - in the special Disney Original Movie, which will be aired on Disney Channel.

Beast and Belle (of Beauty and The Beast) rule over an "idyllic kingdom" with a son of their own, who's waiting to take over the throne, according to Entertainment Weekly. In his first proclamation, the young prince looks to give some redemption to his not-so-well-behaved classmates Carlos (son of 101 Dalmatians' Cruella De Vil), Mal, (child of Sleeping Beauty's Maleficent), Evvie (daughter of Snow White's the Evil Queen) and Jay (son of Aladdin's Jafar).

They all attend the kingdom's prep school with offspring of other Disney favorites like The Fairy Godmother (from Cinderella), Sleeping Beauty, Rapunzel and Mulan.

Maleficent was known from the 1959 classic Disney animated movie, "Sleeping Beauty," and now her offspring Mal is the leader of the pack of teenagers who are also children of other Disney villains. They will be featured alongside the son of the King and Queen from the "Beauty and the Beast."

Kenny Ortega who became famous from directing the "High School Musical" will be directing the Disney Original Movie. But, the shooting will not start until spring next year. A rather perfect timing to make everyone excited and focus on "Maleficent," which is expected to hit the theaters around that time.
