Glee Season 5 cast Lea Michele, 27, is definitely a star! After excellently portraying her role in the hit musical series Glee as Rachel Berry, she is now set to dominate the music industry as well.

But, for the 27-year-old actress, she find it "really scary."

"It's really scary 'cause this is all me. But I think that this is the obvious, like, natural next step. I think that Glee is the greatest blessing that's ever come into my life," she told MTV News.

Could it be that she's scared because she lost her number 1 fan, ex-boyfriend/ex-costar Cory Monteith?

During an interview with Elvis Duran and Z100 Morning Show today, Michele admitted that her ex-boyfriend Cory Monteith was "heavily involved" on her music career.

"When Cory passed away in July, we sort of stopped and looked at the record and thought, 'Well is there anything now that we want to change of add?' It was so perfect the way it was," she said.

She further added, "He was like my biggest fan and critic and he loved every song!" she added. "He would give me all his notes and I took every one into consideration."

It's no surprise that Michele is deeply affected by the passing of her ex-boyfriend and how it also affected the creation of her upcoming album, Louder.

But, it's also her album that keeps her going for more. While Cory Monteith may not be physically with her right now, her upcoming album and recently released single, Cannonball, serves as a Cory Monteith's voice that will keep her stronger and stronger.

The Glee Season 5 cast Lea Michele also have a lot of people on her side. While talking to MTV, she also used it as a time to thank the people around her that made this album possible.

"I am so grateful to [show creator] Ryan Murphy and to, especially, to Adam and Alex Anders, who are the two guys we work on the music with. These guys have made so many dreams come true for me and they've helped me create such an awesome platform to continue in my life and accomplish more of my dreams."
