Psy Makes a Surprise Appearance in ‘The Nut Job’!

Superstar Psy made a special surprise appearance in the animated film The Nut Job. The movie's production cost was the greatest ever - roughly $45 million dollars.

Psy will be making an appearance in the ending, where his character will dance to "Gangnam Style" along with other characters from The Nut Job.

The Nut Job was produced by Korean company Red Rover, and is a 3D animated movie. It will hit 3,000 theaters in America on January 17, 2014. It is scheduled for release in more than 110 countries around the world. Even the voice cast is star-ridden, including big Hollywood names such as Liam Neeson, Katherine Heigl, Will Arnett, and more.

A movie rep stated, "We invited a wide range a people to the show screening, such as people working in the Hollywood industry, worldwide distributor officials, children, and family audiences. At the ending credit scene when Psy's character dances along to The Nut Job characters, almost everyone burst out into laughter. Some even danced along to the song."

The rep continued, "They were surprised by the high quality that isn't like that of Hollywood productions, and was amazed at the unique Hallyu collaboration.
