PS4 & Xbox One Deals And Discounts: Gamestop Bundles, Amazon, And Avoiding Markup Prices

As the Christmas shopping season reaches its climax, many are wondering what PS4 and Xbox One deals and discounts are available after the Black Friday madness.

As noted by many sources, finding a PS4 or Xbox One right now is very challenging, even online. But if you are lucky, there are still a few places to look for deals and discounts on your favorite consoles.

Firstly, GameStop is reportedly running a number of Christmas specials, including an Xbox One bundle, according to Christian Post.

The "Joy to the Players" Christmas sale includes an Xbox One bundle that comes with either Dead Rising 3 or Forza Motorsport 5 and Ryse for $619.97. Getting an Xbox One with all three games will run at $739.95.

Sadly, there doesn't seem to be any PS4 deals or discounts available through GameStop at the moment, but keep your eyes peeled for more GameStop sales before 2013 ends.

Of course, online shoppers looking for PS4 and Xbox One deals and discounts should check Amazon, Best Buy, and other trustworthy sources.

Beware, however, that most of these retailers only have PS4 and Xbox One consoles through third-party sellers at markup prices.

While some PS4 and Xbox One deals offered by third-party sellers are somewhat reasonable, be extra cautious of unreasonably high prices, with some individuals selling units at a 143% markup.

Another thing to note that major third-party sellers appear to be pricing the Xbox One at a lower price than the PS4, so if you're looking for deals and discounts with either system, the Xbox One may be the way to go during the holiday mayhem.

Of course, you can preorder your PS4 or Xbox One and wait until the New Year, where replenishments will most likely hit all major retailers, but it depends on what you're looking for and how soon you want your systems.
