Eminem Rihanna Monster Video Features ‘Lose Yourself’ Rap God Role Play With Shrink Dr. RiRi, Revisits ‘Berzerk’ Rappers Career Highlights

Eminem Rihanna Monster music video portrays the troubled Rap God in consultation with his glamorous shrink, the Diamond singer Rihanna. The video opens with Eminem revisiting his past performances and career milestones while Dr. RiRi observes him closely from a distance.

From his first 1999s song My Name Is in which Dr. Dre played his counselor to Lose Yourself and The Way I Am, the Monster music video also reminisces the rap genius’ 2001 Grammy Performance with Sir Elton John.

Somewhere around the middle of the video, Eminem sees himself trapped in an elevator and later his alter ego, the monster within trapped in a cage. The pain, the agony in the monster’s eyes remind the Slim Shady artist’s dark past related to drug abuse.

The redemption from troubles and confusion comes from the alluring therapist Rihanna who guides Eminem away from his dark past and into the brighter future that awaits him. The Monster is the fourth song in Eminem’s latest album MMLP2 and is currently ruling at no. 1 position on the Billboard top 100 chart.

In fact, Monster’s huge success and #1 ranking helped Rihanna bypass Katy Perry’s record of 13 top ranking songs on Billboard chart. The here to ‘Stay’ artist is now tied with King of Pop Michael Jackson for the third-highest number of top ranking songs.
Eminem’s Monster feat. Rihanna is the fourth collaboration between the Grammy winners. Their last album together, ‘Numb’ had come out in 2012.

Rihanna’s next collaboration is rumored to be with ‘Hips don’t lie’ singer Shakira, as revealed by Pitbull during the promotion of his ‘Timbre.’ If the speculations prove right, Shakira-Rihanna’s untitled duet will release in January 2014.
Meanwhile, Eminem and Rihanna are both looking forward to clinching titles at the Grammy Awards, set to be announced in January 2014.
