The Instagram picture above shows Lindsay Lohan in a New York City recording studio over the weekend, experimenting with different tracks, TMZ reports. Lindsay apparently wants to resurrect her music career, now that she's out of rehab.

The 27-year-old has released two albums in the past, with hits "Rumors," and "Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father)," The Huffington Post reports.

But this time around, Lindsay reportedly wants to branch out with her music career into EDM, according to TMZ. Lindsay has gotten advice and support from friends, including Lady Gaga and Max from The Wanted.

Lindsay was previously signed to Casablanca Records, but is currently looking for a new record deal to relaunch her music career, The Huffington Post reports.

Lindsay Lohan left rehab in July, after 90 days of court-mandated time there. It was Lohan's sixth stint in rehab.

Lindsay has also signed a deal with Oprah Winfrey's OWN network to star in an eight-part documentary series in 2014, according to The Huffington Post.
