Hands Up for 2PM's 2013, a Year in Review

The six-member male group of JYP Entertainment, though as been a little bit quiet at the start of 2013, they did not fail fans' hopes of seeing them face-to-face.

2PM started the year by visiting the land of the rising sun with their Japanese tour in Fukukoa, "The Legend of 2PM," which made thousands of fans' dream come true by seeing and performing for them personally.

2PM had their dream come true as they have embarked on a performance in Japan's Tokyo Dome entitled, "LEGEND OF 2PM in Tokyo Dome" which was held in April 20 and 21 and garnered 110,000 die-hard fans in their two-night concert.

With their concerts in Japan being successful, the boys then released their Japanese album, "The Legend of 2PM," which bagged the top spot in the prestigious, Oricon Charts. 2PM also added cities to their concerts which included Bangkok, Manila and Guangzhou.

The group also finally made a comeback in the Korean music scene after two years as they released their 3rd full-length album entitled, "Grown" with the lead track, "A.D.T.O.Y (All Day I Think of You)" which showed the group's matured trait and tells the viewers of the video that they have evolved into manly figures.

As part of their promotion activities for the album, from 2 May to 31 July 2013, the group took part in the 2PM G+Star Zone exhibition, at the Apgujeongrodeo Station. It is part of the G+Dream Project by Gangnam-gu Office for disadvantaged youth.
The group made their promotional appearance for the album was on M.net's M! Countdown on May 16, where they performed "A.D.T.O.Y." and "Comeback When You Hear This Song."

2PM also was part of the KBS program, "A Song for You" which had the chance to grant fans' request of songs.

Apart from having the group a success with both Japanese and Korean albums rise among the charts, the boys also were successful in their individual activities:

Chansung took the role in a hit drama, "7th Grade Civil Servant."

While Jun K. also starred in the musical "The Three Musketeers."

Nichkhun had also been picked as a brand model for the Philippine brand, BENCH, which only proves that he has been popular in other Southeast Asian countries other than Thailand and Korea.

And not to mention, it seems like Taecyeon had the lucky year this 2013 since he got to be in the reality show, "We Got Married, Global Edition" together with Taiwanese singer Guigui. He also starred in tVN's drama, "Who Are You" and was also the lead character in the movie, "Marriage Blue," together with Lee Yeon and Joo Ji Hoon.

This year was indeed a prosperous and great year for the 2PM and of course, the HOTTESTs. Let us look forward for their same great work this 2014
