Both singers are tight lipped about the duet, leading fans to believes if the news is in reality only a rumor. While the ‘Hips don’t lie’ artist is busy wrapping up her new single, set to release in January 2014, the ‘Pour it Up’ Rihanna is basking in the glory of the ‘Monster’ success of her duet with Rap God Eminem.

Eminem Monster ft. Rihanna music video was released last week. In the much awaited and talked about music video from the album MMLP2, the ‘Berzerk’ rapper is seen fighting his inner monsters, with help from his stunning shrink, the ‘Diamond’ singer Dr. RiRi.

In fact, ‘Monster’ helped Rihanna to beat Katy Perry’s record of 12 number 1 ranking songs on the Billboard Pop Chart Record. The ‘Stay’ girl is currently tied with the King of Pop Michael Jackson with 13 top ranking songs on the Chart. Speculations are rife that Shakira Rihanna duet song, if it materializes, could be RiRi’s key to score yet another Billboard No. 1 chart record.

But these are all speculations which need some confirmation immediately from either of the artists or people associated with them. Some of the Twitter fans are giving up on the hopes of collaboration in the near future while some of them are pretty optimistic about the duet.

They even think that Shakira and Rihanna may just drop their song on iTunes, just like Queen Bey did with her new self titled album ‘Beyonce.’
However, Rihanna going Beyonce’s way is quite an improbability, given that Bey’s Hive is subtly in conflict with RiRi’s navy, and of course there’s the ever-talked about ‘feud’, where nobody is able to tell clearly what the fuss is all about!
