K-Pop Crossover [VIDEO]: Stevie Wonder Hits The Stage With John Mayer and Herbie Hancock to Perform `Songs in the Key of Life” in Full at Charity Concert

K-Pop Crossover: Stevie Wonder is no stranger to the world of Kpop. Stevie Wonder performed "I Just Called to Say I Love You" with Hyorin of SISTAR at MNET Asian Music Awards MAMA in Hong Kong. Hyorin has been called the Beyonce of Kpop. CL of 2NE1 and BIGBANG both gushed over meeting the former 12-year-old Genius.

Stevie Wonder is a legend. A large part of the Motown's myth is his 1976 album "Songs in the Key of Life," which was more than just one of the biggest selling albums of all time, it was one of the most innovative and influential records ever made. Stevie has always wanted to perform the album in full. When Wonder hit the stage this weekend at a charity concert, he performed the classic album in its entirety.

Stevie Wonder plays The House Full of Toys holiday benefit every year. This year's concert was a special gift when Stevie was joined by blues guitarist, and Katy Perry boyfriend, John Mayer and keyboard wizard Herbie Hancock to perform Songs in the Key of Life on Saturday. Dec. 21.

Stevie Wonder had not superstition against playing the 37-year-old double album. He was also joined by a lot of the musicians from the original 1976 release.

Stevie opened the show by admitting "Truly, I wanted to do this for years... but it felt like it was meant to be right now."

The show went on for three hours of ecstatic sound. John Mayer shredded his guitar for "All Day Sucker," singer India.Arie lent her pipes to "Saturn" and Herbie Hancock reunited with Wonder for "As." Jazz great Esperanza Spalding thumbed his upright bass and Stevie did a nine minute extended jam on "Isn't She Lovely," Stevie's celebratory song to his children.

In a somber and moving segment Stevie Wonder was joined by member of Nelson Mandela's family for a tribute to the civil rights leader.

Bon Jovi's Richie Sambora joined Wonder for a duet on "Silent Night."

Samborra said "It is almost beyond words. He was the guy that I emulated when I was a boy, and he taught me how to sing. It was an honor to meet your teacher. The first thing I did was whisper in his ear, 'I'm sure you get this a lot, but you were my inspiration as a singer.' The first thing he said is (sic), 'You do the first verse!'"
