Imran Khan actor movies, news: Bollywood heartthrob and up and coming superstar Imran Khan attended his uncle Aamir Khan’s highly anticipated film, “Dhoom 3.” He was accompanied by his wife Avantika for the film’s special screening.

According to IBN Live, in a recent interview, Imran shares his desire for the film to smash box office records.

“I think there will be some new club. Rs. 200 crore club has already been made, and for this film there will be a Rs. 300-Rs. 400 crore club,” says the “Gori Tere Pyaar Mein” actor.

Imran Khan was last seen at “Gori Tere Pyaar Mein” co-starring Kareena Kapoor. The film was directed by Punit Malhotra and is a story about a man named Sriram Venkat (Khan) described as the most shallow guy on earth who doesn’t value relationships, family, friends, life or the country.

Critical reviews of Imran’s latest movie is mixed but Imran Khan’s performance was well appreciated by many.

“Imran Khan springs a big, big surprise in this one. He is absolutely endearing in a role that appears intricate to start with,” says Taran Adharsh’s of Bollywood Hungama. The film did not do well in the box office.

Imran Khan’s wife, Avantika Malik, is pregnant with her first child and the delivery is due of June next year. Khan and Malik tied the knot in January 2011 after ten years of courtship.

“Avantika and Imran will soon become parents as the delivery is due in June next year,” says one of the actor’s closes friends as reported by Bollywood Mantra.

The celebrity couple came to know that Avantika is pregnant when a few months back, she was diagnosed with dengue and during the test, she was tested positive for pregnancy. Asked if the couple has already thought of a name for a child, Imran said they haven’t finalized anything.

“I’m hoping for a girl, she’s hoping for a boy,” says the soon-to-be father, as quoted by Bollywood Mantra. “As you can imagine, there are lots of arguments about the names...Haven’t locked anything yet, but there’s time.”
