Doe B Dead At 22; Rapper Shot in His Hometown; Young Woman Also Killed; Six People Wounded in Shooting

Doe B, the Grand Hustle rapper, was shot to death in his hometown early this morning. Doe B has been confirmed dead after an early morning shooting in his hometown of Montgomery, Alabama. A second victim also died. Doe B, who was born Glenn Thomas, was 22. Doe B died in a hospital after the shooting incident. Police have not named any suspects.

The young rapper was killed early this morning in a bar.

According to Alabama's WSFA 12 News, Doe B, Glenn Thomas, was shot at the Centennial Bar and Grill in Montgomery, Saturday morning at around 1:30 a.m. The second victim was identified as Kimberle Johnson, 21. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Doe B died later at a local hospital. The report says that other people were shot in the bar, which used to be called The Rose Supper Club.

The news that Doe B was dead was confirmed through Twitter by his management at 4:30 a.m. The tweet read "On behalf of doe b's management i would like to thank all of his fans and say Rest in Paeace my brother Glenn thomas aka @CBMDOEB."

Doe B was on Twitter just twelve hours earlier promoting his latest recordings and retweeting his fans' reactions.

The Chief Executive of Grand Hustle, T.I. offered his sympathy to the family and promised Doe B's fans that "RIP to my lil brother Doe B. We gon miss u my ni----. U'll never be forgotten & U WILL NOT DIE IN VAIN. We Love U champ. Always."

B.o.B. another Grand Hustle artist also tweeted his farewell.

Doe B was getting notice from tracks like "Kemosabe" and "Real Ni--as," which appeared on Grand Hustle's compilation tape "G.D.O.G."
