According to news reports, the famous Waka Flocka rapper brother was found dead in Atlanta on Sunday, December 29, 2013. The death was confirmed by the Brick Squad Monopoly leader through a Twitter post and video collage on the Instagram.

Kayo Redd's mother, Debra Antney also paid tribute to her rapper son on Twitter. 'I just lost another son,' tweeted Antney who lived through the death of her son in the year 2000. Waka was 13 years old at the time of his first brother's death and at the time blamed himself for the tragedy.

According to Rolling Stone, Waka had initially tweeted that Kayo had committed suicide, but later removed that post. The details around the Redd Kisses' rapper's death are shroudy - some sources say he was killed in a neighborhood shootout while others say that the young rap artist committed suicide, for the reasons still unknown.

Just a few hours before his body was discovered, Kayo's official Twitter account carried a promotional tweet for his workRedd Kisses. "Make Sure You Go Vote & Download My Latest Mixtape Redd Kisses:."

The entire situation turned awry when at around 11:00 hrs EST, a tweet appeared from Kayo Redd's official Twitter handle,#LLDunkin #YNS @KayORedd. The tweet read, "Whats Up #TeamYNS & #TeamScottie"

The ghostly message took the fans by surprise, some of who questioned the reality of his death while others slammed it as a poor prank over the young rapper's death.

Last week, the hip-hop community lost another budding rapper, Doe B, who died in a shootout in Alabama at the tender age of 22. He was a member of the Hustle Gang.
