Beyonce Leaves Behind New Album Video Controversy, Joins Husband Jay-Z For Miami New Year, Dancing, Bike Riding And More

Beyonce new album video controversy in the final days of 2013 seemed set to ruin Queen Bey’s New Year Eve 2013 plans. But the ‘Halo’ singer kicked in 2014 in style with rapper husband Jay-Z in Miami, dancing sultry to her lead single ‘Yonce’ and going bike riding after midnight.

Mrs. Carter created quite a stir by sampling the Challenger Disaster 1986 announcement in the video for her single ‘XO.’ National Aeronautics Space Administration (NASA) and the families of Space Shuttle Challenger victims took severe offence to Queen Bey using the lines ‘'Flight controllers here looking very carefully at the situation. Obviously a major malfunction.'

According to ABC News, 'former and current NASA astronauts, employees, and Challenger family members argue that using it in a pop song mocks the crew's sacrifice and opens fresh wounds.’

Beyonce defended her stand saying that her intention was to heal, and not hurt the sentiments of those who lost their loved ones. She also said that the song was written to make people understand that life is short and that they should live each moment to the fullest, before it passes away.

'The song XO was recorded with the sincerest intention to help heal those who have lost loved ones. My heart goes out to the families of those who lost their lives in the Challenger disaster.’

‘Drunk in Love’ Beyonce celebrated New Year’s Eve in Miami, dancing with her rapper husband Jay Z on singles from her new self-titled album. The power couple grooved to ‘Partition’ and ‘Yonce’ at Versace Mansion and later went bike riding on a motorcycle in the streets of Miami.

Beyonce also posted a video on her Instagram where the Destiny’s Child front-woman was jamming up the song ‘Yonce’ from her own album. The DJ must have had quite a time of his life, to have the QueenBey herself dance on her own creation.
