Katy Perry Still Struggling With Her Vegan Lifestyle? ‘Roar’ Singer’s List Of Backstage Food Demands Revealed

Katy Perry's diet is indeed roaring with healthy choices! For her recent Caesar's Palace concert, the official list of the 29-year-old singer's food requests has been revealed. Expectedly, most of the food included in the lists corresponds to Katy Perry's vegan lifestyle.

According to TMZ, Katy Perry's vegan lifestyle food list include organic grown fruits, fresh cut crudités paired with ranch drip, healthy granola, dried figs, whole grain tortilla chips, a bowl of hummus, as well as guacamole.

Two large baskets of fruits must be in her dressing room too and one of them should be a bunch of tropical fruits. On the other hand, her dinner should have a vegetarian choice that comes with either couscous or quinoa.

As opposed to her best bud Rihanna who prefers to have Jack Daniels in her dressing room refrigerator, the 'By the Grace of God' songstress opts for fermented grapes specifically Pinot Grigio and Argentine Malbec.

Katy Perry's vegan lifestyle has been influenced by her ex-husband Russell Brand who was previously voted as People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals' (PETA) sexiest vegetarian. However, Perry's meatless path wasn't always easy.

In 2011, one report claimed that she was struggling with the said lifestyle. At one point, the American hit maker allegedly devoured chicken and turkey for she couldn't take it anymore.

 "Russell has been a veggie for 22 years, but Katy adores meat. She did give it up for a while for Russell's sake but is finding it a struggle," claims one of her friends.

Nonetheless, it's a good sign that Perry is still practicing her veggie choices even if she is already dating John Mayer.
