Fulham will face off against rival Sunderland on Saturday, placing two of the English Premier League's closely followed teams against each other.

Fulham, coming out of a 2-1 win over West Ham United, is expected to be the favorite in the match.

Fulham Manager René Meulensteen backs Darren Bent to rediscover his scoring touch, The Mirror reports.

"Darren's going to be important for us. Sometimes players get knocked out of their stride. It's how they respond and how they come back and if they do it in the right way they come back stronger.

"His stats don't lie. He's still a very good striker that you want to have in your squad. Every forward thrives on that confidence to get that goal and go 'right, I've still got it.'

Sunderland, coming out of a 1-0 loss to Aston Villa, is expected to be the underdog in the match.

Sunderland Manager Gus Poyet said the match against Fulham will be massive, the Shields Gazette reports.

"I talk to a lot of people who say we are going to do well in the second half of the season because we are playing so many teams at home, who are in the bottom half of the table," Poyet said, according to the website.

"But we haven't beaten one of them yet, and it is absolutely vital that we start doing that now."
