Young Jeezy Arrested for Beating Teen Son; Jeezy Points to the Mother

Young Jeezy was arrested on Wednesday for beating his teenage son. Young Jeezy denied the charges and said it was the boy's mother who set it up for money.

The Superior Court of Fulton County's Intake Unit has issued no comment but Inmate Database lists Young Jeezy, who's real name is Jay Jenkins, was arrested on Jan. 3. The database says three Grand Jury Warrants were issued on Young  Jeezy for false imprisonment and making terrorist threats against his son.

Young Jeezy denied the allegations and said that the arrest was orchestrated by Jeezy's son's mother, Tenesha Dykes. Insiders close to Jeezy also claim that the mother of Young Jeezy's son, Tenesha Dykes, orchestrated the whole thing.

Georgia sheriff's spokesman Tracy Flanagan said Jeezy is set to appear in Atlanta court on January 29. He faces felony charges of battery, terroristic threats and false imprisonment.

His son told police the alleged incident "stemmed from a text message he sent to his father."


The charges stem from in an incident from 2012. On Friday, Rapper Young Jeezy who was born Jay Jenkins, surrendered himself to the police. TMZ reported that Jeezy posted bond for $45,000 in Atlanta and is out of jail.

Police documents that were obtained by TMZ says Young Jeezy threw his son Jadarius into a glass shower door after the two got into a fight in a bathroom. The papers say son hit his head in the fight. The papers say that Jeezy allegedly punched his son in the face, dragged him to the bedroom, where he threw his son on a table and started "pummeling" him." The report said "The juvenile stated his father stated to him 'I'll put a bullet in your head right now.'
In the documents, Jadarius says that Young Jeezy continued beating him while shouting threats like, "I will kill you. I will put a bullet in your head right now. If I could get away with it, I would kill you."

A lawyer for Young Jeezy told the media, "We have no doubt this matter will resolve itself appropriately. At this moment, Mr. Jenkins is thankful for the support of his fans and the respect for his family's privacy."

Police report said. "The boy's mother called police two days later when her son returned to her and she noticed bruising and scratches on his face," The insiders claim that she was trying to get money out of Jeezy.

Sources close to Young Jeezy say the father and son did get into an intense argument in September 2012, but that the incident never violent. The insiders say Jeezy didn't want his son's friends staying at his house and wanted his son to watch his attitude. They say Jadarius became belligerent and it turned into a screaming match. The insiders also says that Jeezy never threatened his son with "I will kill you ... I will put a bullet in your head right now," but paraphrased Bill Cosby's line "I brought you into this world and I can take you out of it."

The insiders stressed that Tenesha Dykes masterminded the arrest. Sources say Dykes has been brainwashing Jadarius to try to get money from Jeezy.
