"Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier" is facing one huge question: Will Chris Evans' character be killed off in the movie? The Interwebs are rife with rumors that problems on the set are forcing producers to think about replacing the hunky actor.

"Captain America 2" is scheduled to be released on April 14, 2014 and yet the producers have scheduled some reshoots recently which further fanned the rumors that there's trouble on the set caused by Evans. It should be noted, however, that reshoots for blockbuster films with very large budget are not too uncommon.

In the stills released for the film, Examiner said, the Winter Soldier (played by Sebastian Stan) was shown holding Captain America's shield. The trailer also showed Bucky being able to stop the shield.

Fans of the Comic series, however, don't see Captain America's death as surprising. In the extremely popular "Civil War" story arc, Steve Rogers was assassinated on the orders of his arch enemy, the Red Skull.

He was eventually replaced by Bucky Barnes in the comic series. In the Winter Soldier movie, Bucky whom Captain America thought to be dead was actually alive and brainwashed by the Soviets to become a formidable foe for "America's greatest patriot."

Another interesting cast is Crossbones (Frank Gillo) who sniped at Captain America in the comic series. Does his inclusion mean that Evans is a goner?

In an interview with Collider in the middle of last year, Evans admitted that he can be pretty whiny.

"I'm such a little bitch. I don't know what my issue is. I really am. I'm such a f---ing whiny bitch, man," he said, although the actor is also known for his self-deprecating humor so he could just be kidding.

However, replacing Chris Evans as Captain America might prove to be difficult since the actor signed a six-picture deal.
