Since the G2 was launched in Septmber, there were some people who are already asking for the LG G3 release date. A recent report claims that date would fall on the 17th of May.

According to GSM Arena, an unnamed source says the Korean manufacturer will release its flagship a few months earlier because of Samsung's strategy to release its own flagship phone, the Galaxy S5 in March.

Some rumors also point to a 5.5-inch display with 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution, the latest Snapdragon chipset, and optical image stabilization (OIS).

The same reports also claim that LG plans to unveil another flagship-material droid at the MWC event in Barcelona.
