Norwich City will face off against rival Hull City on Saturday, placing two of the English Premier League's closely followed teams against each other.

Norwich City, coming out of a 2-0 loss to Everton, is expected to be the favorite in the match.

Norwich City Manager Chris Hughton said he is desperate to improve his team.

"The supporters show the passions of their club. We have the same passions here," Hughton told BBC Radio Norfolk.

"And I am desperate as a manager to make sure we keep making progress."

Hull City, coming out of a 2-0 loss to Chelsea, is expected to be the underdog in the match.

Hull City Manager Steve Bruce appealed to Hull City fans to end opposition to Assem Allam name change plans, SkySports.com reports.

"I don't think it will for the time being but hopefully it will. For all his doubters I think this week has proved what the club actually means to him. He doesn't have to make any more statements than what he has just done," he said, according to the site.

"The most important thing for me is the two players we are bringing in to wear the shirt, who will significantly add to the squad and make us better and bigger and hopefully keep us in this division for the next few years at least."
