YG Entertainment CEO Yang Hyun Suk revealed his plans for the debut of WINNER during this week's episode of "WINNER TV".

The sixth episode of "WINNER TV", which airs every Friday night at 10 PM (UTC+9:00) on Mnet and Naver TV, featured a segment on which Yang Hyun Suk evaluated WINNER's self-composed songs and talked to them about their debut.

Yang Hyun Suk previously stated on the last episode of "WIN: Who Is Next" that Team A's songwriting skills are superb and if they should win the competition(and they did), he'd consider letting them debut with an entirely self-produced album. Epik High's Tablo stated, "Team A's songs are so amazing that I want to download it and listen to it right now."

Each member of WINNER displayed their song writing skills on "WIN". The song that they performed for the final battle, "GO UP", was composed by Kang Seung Yoon and Song Minho and written by Kang Seung Yoon, Lee Seung Hoon, and Song Minho.

The first song for the final battle was YG lead producer Teddy's track, "Just Another Boy". Team A's version was arranged by Kang Seung Yoon, Nam Tae Hyun, and Song Minho while Nam Tae Hyun, Lee Seung Hoon, and Song Minho wrote the lyrics. During the airing of "WIN", Song Minho also showed off his polished song writing skills by releasing his self-composed song "Uleri Koleri". Even the title song of "WINNER TV" was composed by Nam Tae Hyun in collaboration with PK and BIGTONE, while the lyrics were written by Kang Seung Yoon and BIGTONE.

The sixth episode of "WINNER TV" showcased a crop of WINNER's new songs. They brought about six or seven songs for evaluations to Yang Hyun Suk, and Yang Hyun Suk evaluated each song with sharp discernment. In the end, most of the songs were rejected by Yang Hyun Suk. He complemented Nam Tae Hyun for his originality but otherwise asked WINNER to feel more desperation and not get complacent. WINNER members agreed that they were still too happy about being chosen as WINNER. They vowed to bring a better crop of songs to the next evaluation.
