Mychal Kendricks and Rihanna dating rumors started to circulate when the 25-year-old songstress featured the athlete on her Instagram photo for "Man Crush Monday". Rihanna uploaded a close-up shot of Kendricks with the caption, "Is it Monday? Cuz ch... #MCM"

Fans were quick to notice that 24-year-old sports enthusiast has a close resemblance with Riri's former beau, Chris Brown. They likewise pointed out that Kendricks was merely a "muscular version" of Brown. However, Hollywood Life reported that Rihanna's crush on Kendricks had nothing to do with her ex-boyfriend.

 "She loves a big man like that and he seems like he's got a lot going on. She digs that. Just because she's 'Rihanna' or whatever, doesn't mean she can't have little crush on someone," claims the source.

Even if the 'Diamonds' singer publicized her admiration for Kendricks, the latter did not seem to be very comfortable with the attention. After his team's defeat against the New Orleans Saint, Life & Style magazine asked him about the Instagram photo to which he replied, "Some of the guys told me about it. They were busting my chops a little." When asked if he'd like to meet the singer, he responded, "I don't wanna talk about it."

Perhaps the Eagles player is not in a festive mood after the loss. Is there a possibility for him to reciprocate Rihanna's appreciation of him and similarly post her photo for "Woman Crush Wednesday (WCW)"?
