Erin Andrews’ Sherman Interview Gets Sacked; Seahawks Corner says `Don’t Open Your Mouth …Or I’ll Shut It For You Real Quick’'; Seahawks Head to the Super Bowl (Video)

Erin Andrews' Sherman interview was a spiked ball on the one yard line in a Super Bowl playoff. Erin Andrews was interviewing Richard Sherman postgame when the corner for the Seahawks went off on her. Erin Andrews was emphatically told "Don't open your mouth" about the best corner on the field by Richard Sherman. The Seahawks are headed to the Super Bowl.

Richard Sherman went ballistic on Erin Andrews after the Seattle Seahawks won the NFC championship last night. Sherman lost it when Erin interviewed after the Seattle Seahawks beat theSan Francisco 49ers in the playoff game.

Sherman yelled to Andrews about San Francisco wide receiver Michael Crabtree, "I'm the best corner in the game. When you try me with a sorry receiver like Crabtree, that's the result you're going to get. Don't you ever talk about me. Don't you open your mouth about the best, or I'll shut it for you real quick."

It was the last seconds of the NFC Championship game and it looked like 49ers were rallying. They were down 23-17, but a series of short passes put them downfield into scoring position. It looked like they were going to pull it out when Malcolm Smith intercepted with an assist from Sherman. Sherman nabbed an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for harassing intended receiver Michael Crabtree with a pat on the ass. Crabtree shoved Sherman. The Seahawks ran out the clock.

In the live interview after the game between Erin Andrews and Sherman, the dreadlocked cornerback bragged about his abilities and denigrated Michael Crabtree, saying: "I'm the best corner in the game! When you try me with a sorry receiver like Crabtree, that's the result you're going to get. Don't you ever talk about me. Don't you open your mouth about the best, or I'll shut it for you real quick."

Erin tried to calm things down, asking "Who was talking about you?" But Sherman went on with the rant.

None of this bothered Andrews who tweeted after the game "Richard Sherman gave a candid response seconds after an emotional game ... looking forward to a great Super Bowl matchup."
