LG G Flex Release Date: AT&T Now Accepts Pre-Orders And Reveals Pricing For Flexible Android Handset

LG has seen a rapid growth in sales last year, thanks to a number of stunning handsets and slates. The Korean manufacturer also released the 'truly' flexible smartphone, and now the LG G Flex release date is upon us as AT&T announces its pre-order status and pricing on its website.

In a report by GSM Arena, the carrier has announced that its subscribers can grab the curved droid starting on Friday, January 24. Subscribers can choose whether they would order online, or visit any of AT&T's brick and mortar stores.

If you are thinking of getting this device, then you can get it on a 24-month contract at $299.99. In addition, there are also installment plans of 18 months and 12 months with monthly fees requiring $26.74 and $34.75 respectively.

The LG G Flex is one of the most intriguing handsets in recent years as it features a curved body. However, what makes it stand out is the fact that it can be flexed slightly, which LG claims makes it more durable against drops.

Boasting high-caliber specs, the G Flex is not in any way subpar aside from the 720p display due to the plastic screen it uses. There's also a 'self-healing' back cover that could make minor scratches and dents disappear.

So are you planning on getting this curved droid as the year begins?
