Spice Girls Reunion Shunned By Victoria Beckham; ‘Sometimes You’ve Got To Know When It’s Time To Leave,’ Says Posh Spice

While fans are still hoping for a Spice Girls reunion, one of the famed girl band's member does not want to be back onstage anymore. In a recent interview with Vanity Fair Italy and Spain, Victoria Beckham claimed that she did not want to be involved in any Spice Girls reunions.

Mel. B might be fervently wishing for a comeback but for Mrs. Beckham, she is officially ending her pop career in order to focus on her family as well as her flourishing clothing line.

"I won't ever do it again. Doing the Olympics was an incredible honor. I was so proud to do it; proud to be British," Beckham disclosed. She was pertaining to the Spice Girls' reunion performance during the London Olympics Closing Ceremony in 2012.

"That was a perfect time to say, 'That's great. Thank you to everybody, but no more.' Sometimes you've got to know when it's time to leave the party," she explained.

She also added that not because she refused a Spice Girls reunion meant that she also refused to celebrate her former band's ideology: "The Spice Girls were successful because we celebrated women. That's why I do what I do today."

Perhaps the fashion designer is merely following her husband David Beckham's decision to retire from his soccer career.

"It was very emotional. We were so proud. He couldn't have given more to the sport than he did. After so many years, we have shared - and continue to share - him with so many people. So it's nice to have him home," gushed the proud wife.
