Gran Turismo 7 release date may happen this year.

After the arrival of GT6 last year, speculations begin to emerge regarding the potential Gran Turismo 7 release date.

For instance, there were reports suggesting that Gran Turismo 7 release date may be pegged for 2014. A post on International Business Times included Gran Turismo 7 as one of the top 5 rumored games for 2014. The post also cited Mirror, which reported that Gran Turismo 7 release date will happen in 2014.

The game "will be launched on PS4 in 2014 despite the sixth in the series not even being available yet on PlayStation 3," as posted on Mirror.

Kazunori Yamauchi, the CEO of Polyphony Digital said, "We don't want to take too long on Gran Turismo 7. Best-case scenario? Next year."

Yamauchi further shared, "In GT6 we really had to tune the software 100 percent to maximize the PS3's architecture, but of course the PS4's hardware is much better, so I think the overall quality of the game across the board will be boosted when you come to play it."

On the other hand there are also sources such as PS4 Daily which suggested that Gran Turismo 7 release date may be slated for 2015. As for the reason, IB Times post reads, "This may be due to the possible porting of GT 6 to the next-gen PS4, which could potentially also be dubbed as GT 7."

However, there is only a limited supply and the deal ends at 1PM ET/10AM PT.
