Almeng members Choi Rin and Lee Hae Yong went head to head on opposing teams. Lee Hae Yong's team lost, and Jang Ji Woon was eliminated from the show. Jang Sae Woon and Brody were saved thanks to wild cards. "K-Pop Star 3" will now begin their casting auditions.

This episode of "K-Pop Star 3" kicked it off with the team mission final match. One of the noted best singers for this season Nam Young Joo and American Idol contestant Han Hee Jun put on a pro-like performance. They were praised for showing off talent and charisma that they'd never displayed before, and easily passed into the next round. Almeng's Choi Rin and Lee Hae Yong were put on different teams and became opponents for this match. They were put into separate groups so that they could show off their individual talents. Fate would have it that they would have to battle one another in this match. Choi Rin's "Diet R" group sang "Follow Me," which received high praise from the judges. Lee Hae Yong came together with Jang Ji Woon to sing a soulful rendition of "When This Night Passes," which received position feedback as well. However, Jang Ji Woon was eliminated in this round, and fortunately for Almeng they were able to advance to the next round as a team.

Unfortunately singer songwriter duo "Something" Jang Sae Woon and Brody were eliminated as well. However, they were revived from their elimination thanks to the judges' wild card, and were able to advance into the next round. The 3rd round of team missions has been completed. The judges sought to find out the contestants' hidden talents and potentials through these team missions and song selections. The advancing contestants were determined by these team matches.

The next round is the greatly anticipated casting auditions. In "K-Pop Star" season 3, there will be just one round of casting auditions. It's estimated that half the contestants will be eliminated in this round, and the judges are considering this matter heavily. Until now the judges had been the ones choosing the contestants, but now it's the contestant's turn to do the choosing. The judges anxiously waited to see if their favorite contestants would be joining their agencies for the next round. Yang Hyun Suk and Park Ji Young were eager to cast Lee Chae Young, even using their priority cards to have her come to their agencies. She was cast to YG. The three agencies are in a battle against one another to cast their favorite contestants. Antenna Music even went so far as to reconstruct their studio/office. Which contestants will they cast? What kind of performances will these contestants put on after being molded by these agencies? K-Pop Star is getting more exciting.
