Fight Club 2 Release Date: ‘Fury’ Star Brad Pitt & Edward Norton To Reprise Their Roles In The Graphic Action Drama Film Set To Hit Theaters On 2016

Fight Club 2 release date set for 2016 as "Fury" star Brad Pitt together with Edward Norton will reprise their roles in Chuck Palahnuik's graphic novel "Fight Club."

In 1999, a movie adaptation of Palahnuik's novel about Tyler Durden and the club that he created made it to the big screen. It has been announced that a sequel to the hit movie is now in the works and it will be released on the big screen sometime in 2016.

The said film will take place 10 years after the club was created by Tyler Durden.

"It will likely be a series of books that update the story 10 years after the seeming end of Tyler Durden. Nowadays, Tyler is telling the story, lurking inside Jack, and ready to launch a come-back. Jack is oblivious. Marla is bored. Their marriage has run aground on the rocky coastline of middle-aged suburban boredom. It's only when their little boy disappears, kidnapped byTyler, that Jack is dragged back into the world of Mayhem," according to the genius author behind the film. However, Palahnuik did not give further details with regards to the film's story line.

Nevertheless, Palahnuik confirms that "Fight Club 2" will still feature the works of Tyler Durden and the rest of his team 10 years after the club was created.

Much to fans delight, Brad Pitt and Edward Norton will be returning to the planned sequel. However, the two actors are still busy with their previous engagement, thus production will most likely start in 2015.

Whether the rest of the actors from the first installment of Fight Club will also be back with Brad Pitt and Edward Norton has yet been announced. However, fans of the graphic novel will surely be glad to know that Pitt will still be on the film.
