Nathan Sykes may have made a secret trip to Los Angeles to visit Ariana Grande, suggesting that the young couple are still dating despite recent reports that they had just experienced a holiday break up, following The Wanted singer's Christmas with his family in Gloucester.

The Gloucester Citizen reports that Nathan Sykes was recently spotted landing at Heathrow airport after spending a couple days in Los Angeles.

Ariana Grande and Nathan's recent Twitter posts also hint that the pair had a great time together.

Ariana tweeted on Tuesday: "I'm a fool for you."

Nathan wrote on his Twitter at the end of last week: "Dancing around to the radio "because I'm happyyyyyyyyy"".

J-14 Magazine reports that Nathan and Ariana, both 20, confirmed they were dating in September of last year, and made their relationship public. Ariana even said Nathan was her first true love.

But in December reports surfaced that the two had split, due to their difficult long-distance relationship. Neither Ariana or Nathan commented on their rumored break up, but they haven't been photographed together since before the holiday season.

Meanwhile, Nathan opened up to We Love Pop magazine about his dating style and said despite his shyness, he enjoys the chase.

He said: "I don't really know I really like the chase. I like to work hard to impress a girl. But at the same time I'd be too nervous to be like 'Yeah, she likes me, so I'm going to act really cool.'

"Also, if I thought she didn't like me I'd be like, 'I'm too scared to chase!'"
