The "Ellen DeGeneres Show" will be available within 48 hours of its original U.S. broadcast on the video site Sohu in China.

Elle DeGeneres broke the news on her show yesterday morning, telling the audicne "Ni hao! Ni hao. Ni hao, y'all!" DeGeneres explained "It's basically the same show, but it will have subtitles and be called The Happy Lady Dance Hour."

Warner Bros.' "Ellen DeGeneres Show" deal with Sohu Video is a first for daily U.S. talk shows in the Chinese market. According to the statement by Warner Brothers and Sohu.com, the "Ellen DeGeneres Show" is the first U.S. daily talk show to be carried in China.

Sohu Video licenses a lot of U.S. television shows, like other Chinese online video sites. Sohu recently announced that will add "Saturday Night Live" to its lineup.

Sohu Video will broadcast the show in China. Warner Bros. distributes the show in the United States.
