The official synopsis for tonight's episode reads: "The BAU hunts for a vigilante killer in Cleveland. Meanwhile, Rossi becomes concerned when his former Vietnam marine sergeant goes missing and he goes to Los Angeles to search for him; and the secret J.J. has been keeping from the team begins to catch up with her."

Meanwhile, TVLine caught up with the brains behind "Criminal Minds," and asked about a possible Hotch and Prentiss relationships for fangirls, since Prentiss will be briefly returning to season 9.

According to TVLine, we may see a tiny sliver of hope for Hotch/Prentiss fans during the milestone 200th episode, which airs Feb. 5.

Showrunner Erica Messer said that during the 200th episode, Paget Brewster's Prentiss is fetched from London to pitch in on a crisis:

"There's a moment where Hotch asks her, 'How much longer do we have you?'" Messer shared. "And there's this look he gives to her that makes you feel like if she was around any longer, maybe they would have grabbed a bite to eat, by themselves."
