Google Helpouts Video Chat Experts Allows Users To Get ‘Real Help From Real People In Real Time’; More Than 1,000 Experts Available From Writing Tips To Cooking Demos

Google Helpouts video chat experts are people you can talk to online, via video, when you need help for anything - whether it’s for your writing or cooking. The new service is the latest offering from the tech giant. The new Google service promises, “Real help from real people in real tine.”

Google Helpouts video is similar to a Q&A site, except that you ask questions, have an expert answer them and pay them for the privilege. All the interactions is done on video, similar to the format offered by Google + Hangouts. In a review by Search Engine Watch, it notes that the service allows people to easily demonstrate something from both ends.

According to Search Engine Watch, the Google Helpouts video chat expert can use the video to demonstrate the technique, while a student can use the video to show something from their end they would like advice on. It could be for how to do your makeup to how to how to play guitar.

The company claims that it has more than 1,000 providers offering help in a variety of expertise. Current categories featured are Art & Music, Computer & Electronics, Cooking, Education & Careers, Fashion & Beauty, Fitness & Nutrition, Health and Home & Garden. Some experts are available for free. You’ll see their available schedule when you click on the experts’ profile. You can also see reviews of others who have used the expert.

Google Helpouts video experts also include companies like Sephora, Rosetta Stone, One Medical and Redbeacon. They help users with their needs while also marketing their own products.

Google Helpouts providers are individually approved by Google and they have to go through the screening process, which all 1,000 providers went through before the launch. Users who have purchased the services of a provider via Google Helpouts can also give feedback, which helps Google in determining the quality of the provider.

Search Engine Watch notes that Google is offering a money-back guarantee and it keeps a recording of the Helpout. Users can opt out to not having the Helpout recorded, but would also forfeit the ability to act on the money-back guarantee.
