Adele is currently recording a new album, and a world tour may be in the works for 2015. Will Adele release her new album before next year? According to a new report, Adele is in no rush to release her album following her baby's birth.

"At the moment the discussions are all about a 2015 tour of the UK and North America at least, possibly a world tour," a source told British newspaper The Daily Mirror.

"She has managed to spend a lot of the past two years focusing on being a mother, and wants to continue to do that while releasing and promoting new material.

"She has been back to work but is recording at her own pace. Her appeal has always been the quality of her music so she isn't about to rush release anything just for the sake of it."

Adele, 25, gave birth to her baby son Angelo with partner Simon Konecki in October 2012, and since then has taken time off to focus on being a mother. After undergoing throat surgery, Adele is said to have insisted she doesn't want to tour until 2015, even if her new album releases before the end of  2014, MTV UK reports.

An insider explained: "If her last sales are anything to go by, she doesn't exactly need to."

Adele's second album, "21," became the first to pass the three million sales mark digitally, Entertainmentwise.com reports. The album has sold more than 28 million copies worldwide and has been certified platinum a whopping 16 times in the UK.

Meanwhile, The Daily Mail reports that a source close to Madonna has said that the queen of pop recently met with the "Someone Like You" singer, and rumors of a collaboration are running rampant.

"They have met in London and plan a writing session to produce a track for each other's new albums," the source revealed.

According to the source, Madonna is trying to move on from the "dance music" phase for now. Instead, she wants to focus on a "grown up" album of ballads

Representatives for both Madonna and Adele haven't commented on the report.
