Borderlands 2 PS Vita release date is not happening on March 18.

According to reports earlier today, 2K Games, had finally announced Borderlands 2 PS Vita release date, which is set for March 18. However, the game publisher also posted tweets saying that the announced Borderlands PS Vita release date is incorrect.

The previous Twitter post containing the false Borderlands 2 PS Vita release date, which apparently was already deleted, stated:

"#Borderlands 2 is coming to #PS Vita On March 18^th! RT!"

Meanwhile, below are the actual tweets from 2K Games (@2K International) apologizing for the wrong information posted about Borderlands 2 PS Vita release date.

Release date of Borderlands 2 for PS Vita is expected to arrive at some point this 2014. Although there is no solid launch schedule yet announced for the game, fans can expect more info about the game to arrive soon, as tweeted by Gio Corsi, the Director of Third Party Production for PlayStation, as cited on PlayStation Lifestyle.

Corsi's tweet reads:

"Borderlands 2", developed by Gearbox Software and published by 2K Games, were released in September 2012. The action role-playing FPS game is currently available for Microsoft Windows, PS3, Xbox 360 and OS X platforms.
