Minecraft PS4 release date is coming this year.

4J Studios has not revealed yet a more solid Minecraft PS4 release date yet. However, Sony Entertainment previously confirmed that Minecraft PS4 release date will certainly be set for at some point this 2014, as posted on Society And Religion.

 Aside from Minecraft PS4 edition, fans are also expecting the Xbox One port of the hit open-world sandbox game, which was originally made by Swedish programmer, Markus Persson. The game was first released in May 2009 for PC, developed and published by Mojang, Persson's own company.

Meanwhile, Minecraft PS3 Edition was just released December of last year and a new patch was recently rolled out for the game. As posted on Examiner, patch 1.03 for Minecraft is now rolling out in North America, as well as in Europe, New Zealand and Australia.

Since the release of Minecraft PS3 in December, corrupt save bug were experienced in the game. And with the update 1.03 already available, the issue is expected to be solved already. Furthermore, below is the list of fixes to get after updating your copy of Minecraft PS3 edition:  

Fix for issue in multiplayer/splitscreen which could cause save file corruption.

Fix for memory issue causing random game freezes and exits to XMB.

Fix for being unable to join games at times ("The host has exited the game" message incorrectly being displayed).

Fix for splitscreen crash on adding a player when language is Russian.

Fix for issue which can prevent leaderboard updates and some trophy awards.

Fix for issue causing "No DLC offers available" message when converting trial to full version.

Fix for game render glitch when a new streaming music track starts up.

Fix for a lighting issue on a network client.

Fix for the block damage decal being incorrectly offset

Fix for selected item text not fading off screen if a menu is opened when it's visible.

Fix for "Where are we now" music disc

Fix for issue with Ghasts firing at certain angles
