The 22-19-9 Ottawa Senators will be playing their second game of a five-game road trip with a stop in Tampa Bay vs the Lightning (29-16-5). Tampa is two points out of first place in the division while Ottawa is trying to get back into the playoff race. Craig Anderson has struggled this season, but came up with 34 saves Tuesday leading the Senators to a 2-0 win against the Washington Capitals for their seventh win in 10 games.

"We played really well for 60 minutes from the start of the game to the end of the game. We did things we were supposed to do and we did them well," Anderson told the Senators website after the game.

The Senators enter with an 11-8-4 road mark having won four of their past five (4-0-1) away from Canadian Tire Centre, according to NHL.com.

"I think we've just come to the games prepared. We've gotten good goaltending. Special teams have been much better on the road than they have been at home. It's one of those things where if you knew the answer, we'd play better at home," Jason Spezza said after the game.

After dropping two straight, getting one point in those two games, Tampa Bay went on to win 5-3 over the Hurricanes. Ondrej Palat and Teddy Purcell each scored his 10th goal for the Lightning, who now have a league-leading eight players with at least that many.

"It has obviously given us a chance to win more games this year," Purcell told the team's official website. "When you have eight guys in double digits, you have a lot of guys chipping in and that's what good teams do."
